In the words of rap pioneers Public Enemy, “Don’t believe the hype!”  AES67 shouldn’t cause excessive head scratching, rather it should be embraced with plug and play technology from SAS and Audinate.

Too often, the technical geniuses of our time can cause confusion with their sub-atomic level discussion of new standards affecting the industry.  AES67 is, built on standards AoIP manufacturers may or may not adhere to without extensive code revision.

SAS has partnered with Audinate to offer Dante AoIP to it’s users.  Not only is Dante the industry standard for AoIP across the Audio-Visual and Live Performance world, it also adheres to plug and play configuration for the AES67 standard.

SAS offers solutions to control Dante audio mapping and control in a 32×32 configuration through the Rio Bravo and Nucleus IP engines. Virtually limitless Dante expansion is available with 16×16 Dante Cards for the 32KD.  Systems with more than 2,000 Dante Channels are now easily within reach using SAS’ new CORE Audio Routing systems.
